Public Enemies Special Job

Today's Zynga release contains Public Enemies special job. Just like the Big Apple week event's Cargo Ship loot, it has a series of steps which is available in 8-hour interval. Not sure as of the moment what's the final loot. I will update this article once I reached  and done in the final step.

An hour after the event started, I've finally completed all the items. I've got it all thru fights (400 staminas). On the other hand, if you are mostly an energy character, just do the Mugging job in Street Thug job tier in New York.

Again, you can obtain this item through social aspect. First, simply click the "Loot shipment" button, once your friends helped, clicking the "Collect your take" will give you the item. You can also help your friends and get the item.

Public Enemies Loot Event

The event will start on Sunday, Dec. 6, 2009 at 12:01am PST. This is in celebration of Public Enemies movie. The event end on Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2009 11:59pm PST. Fights and jobs will give you the chance in getting the Public Enemies themed loots.

Black Friday Sales Event

Available: November 27, 2009 - November 30, 2009

 The event exactly started at 12:01am PST on November 27, 2009. One of the highlights is to complete the 20 items purchase in order to get the "uber" item. Here's what you got once 20 purchases is completed:

Apparently the item is not "uber". You can check the stats of Ubijca Assault Rifle which is more superior than this and can be obtained in Moscow.

Thanks to the Mafia Wars community in Zynga forum for the early information. I've also purchased 20 items and have this limited edition item, though I will still not recommend really to purchase them all. I just have enough Godfather points and enjoy this one time opportunity of the year. But it's totally up  to you.

Thanksgiving Food Fight Items: Loots

More than 2 hours after the event started, I've finally completed all the 8 items. It takes a while to have the Food Coma. Somewhat worth the wait and effort though, as it has good stats and of course, you have the complete collection.

Top recommendation in order to have a good chance in having these loots, as most of you might already know, is to do the Mugging job in Street Thug job tier if you don't have lots of stamina.

Today, after Zynga's update, I've noticed some changes in Turkey Silencer gift item:

Black Friday Sale!

The event starts Friday (November 27, 2009 12:01am PST) and ends Monday (November 30, 2009 11:59pm PST). As per Zynga, it has Black Friday Limited Edition items, Hourly Special and hard to get items at steeply discounted prices. Can't wait!

Mafia Wars Toolbar

Zynga released the Mafia Wars toolbar which is a Firefox plugin. The plugin will monitor your health and stats in real time.

I haven't tried it though and what it looks like in the background, but for now I'm a little bit skeptical in using it. They offered a limited edition loot item for installing this thing. Not much worth the risk, but good for collection. Though I've found a way getting it without installing the toolbar. Thanks to Top Mafia Disabled forum for the tips, esp. to Bossy Don. How to Promote a Maniac Character to a Wheelman

This post is inspired from the Top Mafia's facebook note "Loophole Exposed - How you can promote ANY person to ANY "Top Mafia" Position". But there's some changes, in which you can now only promote any character to one Top Mafia position. In this case, a Maniac to a Wheelman position. The advantage of course is a chance to perform jobs with no energy.








Below are the steps how:

1. In Mafia Wars, go to "My Mafia".
2. Select a person to promote, click the Promote button.
3. Promote first the Mastermind, in order the get the URL of promoting a mastermind, and the user UID. The link should look like this:
